Years later, I discovered Etsy—and everything shifted.

When I put my advent calendar kits out into the world—really put myself out there for everyone to see—something magical happened. The response wasn't just positive; it was overwhelming.

Kits and Crates is a one-woman show (for the most part), but it's always been a family-powered dream.

From my husband helping build shipping boxes and wedding drink charms, to my mom carefully removing masking from flowers, to brainstorming new ideas with friends over drinks...

This business is a team effort in the best way.

When I'm not designing or packing up orders, you'll find me outside with my husband and our two dogs - either in our backyard or off camping somewhere under the trees.

I'm a first-generation Canadian with roots I'm proud of, fluent in two languages, and a fun story of meeting my husband on a movie set. (Ask me about it sometime.)
